The students have been working very hard on a special **Podcasting project which has allowed us to tie many areas of the curriculum together, such as science, social studies, literacy, and technology. To start, everyone picked a topic and researched it thoroughly, writing their information as a report.Next they picked out photographs, drew pictures and even made models to support their report.Using the group of Macintosh laptops in our school, they were able to get their information into a digital format by typing their words, digitizing their pictures and importing them into the software Garage Band.Lastly, their finished product was saved as a podcast and placed on a class wikispace.
